Roguelike Celebration 2025

When and Where?

Roguelike Celebration 2025 will be held on Saturday and Sunday October 25 - October 26, 2025 as a virtual event in our custom-built multiplayer game/chat space. Talks will also be streamed to Twitch and YouTube.

Our call for presenters closed on July 20, 2025. We will respond to all submissions by mid-August.

There will also be a free preview event September 7, 2025, 3pm Pacific in the same social space, with talks streamed to Twitch and YouTube:

• An exclusive fireside chat with Jon Perry about game design and his contributions to UFO 50 such as Planet Zoldath, Party House, and Mini & Max!
• A talk from Alexei Pepers, Designing for System Suspense, which she had previously given for GDC but which is trapped within the vault.
• Ezra Szanton will present a talk: "Building Synergy Webs in Roguelike Deckbuilders"!
